My husband wants me to disappear for 3-4 hours on Sunday it's Mother's Day I had no problem about it but then my problem is that he wants to go to his mothers house & spend some time with her. While I drive around with our three kids I am thinking of telling him to forget the whole thing because I will spend Saturday with my mom so that Sunday I am with my family. Am I wrong in wanting to cancel everything? Because he can also spend Saturday with his mom & leave Sunday for us.

Thank you for your advice Jodi- the reason that makes me not to wanna share this day is because my mother in law will make it all about herself & she doesn't appreciate anything that is done for her she always wants more, so that's why I don't want to get involved I don't want to spoil my mood on that day. She will want the same gift that my husband has bought me. That's why I was thinking of pulling myself out of this mess

Is there some reason you can't all have some time on Mother's Day together? I think it's a bit rude of him to ask you to disappear so he can spend time with his mother. Why can't you be involved in that?
