Today, I came home and with my son 9 yr old from after care and my son asks me where is Lexi? I went into her room and found two letters and her items missing. She wrote me a letter saying she was leaving and that I would regret our up and down relationship. All of this because on Monday I got upset that she didn't her chores and then yesterday I tried to tell her not to leave the deli meat open and is will dry up and get bad and she had such a bad attitude as if a parent can't tell her anything nor require anything of her. She drip out of highschool, smokes marijuana and lies and associates with trashy people. I called and reported her as a missing person/ runaway. She has done this a few times. She has a drug addict father she loves to live with and carry her life on the streets, doing whatever she wants. She hates living with me and my husband because we require her to follow rules and do something with her life. My son is devasted having to come home to his sister's letter. He says he is only 9 and too young to go through this. He is sacred to sleep alone tonight. I really need some encouragement and hope to get the strength not to lose it and go to work tomorrow. She turns 18 in Nov. I was hoping she would get better but she has a rebellious child since 8 years old. Praying she stays out of trouble. Any advise?
