I am a single mom who is also a shift worker. I have found it extremely difficult to find quality, long-term childcare in this area. I am considering starting a babysitting/nanny agency that caters to shift workers. I'm looking for feedback from other mothers. I'd like to know if there is a great need in this area before I begin the process of starting a business from scratch. For me, I hate the idea of my son sleeping in a facility at night while I work. Ideally, I'd like to provide individual caregivers to single parents/families that would work in the home. Any and all suggestions, feedback and advice are welcome!

LOL...No worries, I just didn't want you to think that no one cared, or would have need of something like that.

To me, makes great sense, especially if you don't have someone to help take that childcare on during the 'odd' shifts like swing & graveyards.

Good luck! I'm in Wyoming, so...LOL...absolutely no help!

Thank you Shawnn. I realize after I posted this that I didn't put the area in. I'm brand-new to the site. I live in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

Depends on the area that you are in. We're an international forum, so we're worldwide
