I have been broken up with my daughter's father for almost 2 years now, in which he has seen her a total of 3 times. He has been in and out of jail during this time period. A few months back i filed for child support and at that point he was in jail in az where i filed for child support then he moved before he could be served. My question is will they still go after child support for him?

My next question is i have not filed for custody for my daughter because i haven't felt i needed to but i'm wondering if i should, its just a lot of money and highly doubt he would would fight me but he is in another state which also requires even more money. I'm Just wondering if it worth it.

You should always have custody, visitation and child support sorted out through the courts. There's nothing stopping the Father picking up the child and not returning her at the moment.

You absolutely need court orders detailing custody and visitation terms. It's the only way to truly protect your child.
