My baby is 12 weeks old, and she smiles, laughs out loud, and coos. My concern is that she only does these things when she is either looking at her own reflection or looking at these high contrast, black and white images that we hung up near her changing table. She doesn't smile and coo at me or my husband. She does make eye contact, but no smiles or coos at us. I thought babies this age were supposed to "prefer" their caregivers faces. Should I be concerned that she seems to prefer the non-face pictures and her own reflection?
