Like PP I think it could be an early sign of problems. Recommend she see a dr. I realise at 16 it's up to her, but tell her it's not normal and worth checking.

I didn't start mine until i was 16 and then it only came every other month and sometimes it would be months before i had another one turns out i have PCOS ( Polycystic ovary syndrome) not saying your daughter does just that no one else in my family did and it took me 9 years and 3 miscarriages before i could get a doctor to test me for it. So i would just talk to the doctor, but if she's very active in sports and things then that could be it also.

There are lots of things that can cause this. My sister did not start her period until she was 16 because she was quite underweight for her age due to a heart condition, and she had scoliosis (curvature of the spine) bad enough she had to have spinal surgery to straighten it. Once she had the surgery, she started her period.
I would have her checked by her doc to ensure there isn't a physical reason (underweight, uterine issue, etc).

Quoting Bunny:

Yes because itz a posabilty she can be pregnat

Or...she could be like a friend of mine who has a uterine malformation and physically could not menstruate.  Either way, OP, I would take her to a doctor to have her checked and make sure everything's ok.
