I´m not a mom just an aunt...
My niece will be two years in October, we are a latin family how speaks spanish. My sister is raising my niece based on the attachment theory, well I´m familiar with the basics but now my niece is starting to talk and my sister is always telling my niece to say "I love you" every time she says good bye in a conversation. Im ok with her telling that to my parents and my sister and her husband, but I notice my niece is suppoused to tell "I love you" to everyone she "speaks" my husband for example, her friends, other familz member. I do not feel comfortable with this but I do not know if
I´m being silly. I think this is a powerfull word that shoudl not necessary need to be used as a form to say goodbye. I would like to know if this is normal or I´m crazy for making such a big deal.
