I have a 15 month old baby girl that seems to be behind on speech. We talk to her through our daily tasks and encourage her when she speaks, but it seems like she is still behind. Here is what she says.
Thats it. As far as non verbal communication she will had us a sippy when she is thirsty and point at food and say eat when she is hungry. I'm not sure if this warrants a pediatricians visit to get her in speech therapy, but by the age of 12 months I said 12 words or phases, and by age 18 months I said 18. I understand all children are different, but i'm seeking experience or advice.
