Should I be worry cause my 8 monthold baby still not sitting on his own?

My baby is almost 9 months and he still can't sit on his own, he sits very sturdy and firm on the high chair or jumper, he even wants to crawl but on his crib our the floor he stays still for a sec n then falls. He was born 5 weeks early and the doctors said he was going to be a month behind on his development, comparing to any other child. But I'm a little concern, because my first son learned to sit on his own by 6 months and @ 8 he was crawling already... Should I be worry?

No, I wouldn't be too worried as long as he's doing everything else. Give him more tummy time and he'll probably be crawling and sitting soon. Babies develop at their own pace, and being a preemie factors in.

If he's crawling and developing in other areas I wouldn't be too concerned. My 7 month old doesn't like to sit up for very long either. He's too busy getting into stuff. ;)
