I would. There's no danger to the baby from you getting the vaccinations but, there is a danger to the baby if you don't and you catch either the flu or whooping cough. I have a 3 week old and have gotten the flu shot. I'm in the process of finding out if I got the whooping cough vaccination when I had my other son 3 yrs ago.
I've never gotten the flu shot until this year but, I figured with a baby in the house, what would it hurt...

I actually got my whooping cough vax when I was still in the hospital, I think my daughter was 2 days old, and I breastfed for 15 months.

YES! Get the whooping cough vaccination. It will protect you both from it. Babies can die from whooping cough. the risk is not worth it.

yes, yes, your baby will obtain some immunity through your breast milk and will be more protected from this horrible disease ata vulnerable time, before he can be fully vaccinated. I have seen first hand how flu and whooping cough can be for babies this young. It is not anything a parent wants their child to go through.
