If it's about having to deal with your two year old, I have one of those too. Just bring snacks a drink and some toys.
Would you rather she be motherless? Why the stubborness?
You also have a life inside of you.....

Thursday? Um, no.

Emergency room. Now. Stop f**king around. If you have a DVT, you might not SEE Thursday.

Go. Go, go, go. You COULD have a deep-vein thrombosis, which can be fatal. I'm not trying to scare you, but it IS a possibility, so it's much better to check and make sure.

What kind of birth control do you use... Sometime that can result in blood clots...

Agreed, if your calf hurts and your feet are swelling, go in. My boyfriend gets DVT and blood clots - they can be deadly and need to be treated. Go in, period.

In the mean time, drinking Ginger Ale, eating ginger and taking ginger pills which can naturally help thin your blood to help with the swelling and the clotting further.

Your also supposed to have your foot elevated for 45minutes out of every hour if you have a clot. It's bad. You should also get compression socks

Sorry to go a little off topic. And sorry if this sounds stupid. But Tah Would the sympthoms be the same for a nonpregnant person?

The doctor isn't talking about preeclampsia...which would cause an elevated blood pressure. He is talking about a blood clot that can break free travel to your lungs and kill you pretty quickly..so I'd either call someone to watch the baby or to go with you or pack a crap load of activities and get going..

Because just to get it checked you don't need to see a doctor only if its high and if its high that would bump you up the list.

Actually what you could do is walk to the desk and just say you need a BP check they should do it right there. Or go to a drug store adn check it there then if its high then go to the er
