Should I let her go?

So my daughter is 13 and she wants to go visit her friend. Should I let her go on an airplane by herself she would have to change planes. Btw I would pay for her to have a flight attendant with her at all times. Should I let her go? She wants to go so bad. She is very mature and knows about strangers and kidnappings.

I guess it depends who is meeting her on the other end, where she is staying, and how well you know these people. My son was 13 the first time he flew on his own, and I just booked him as an unaccompanied minor, which meant that I had to fill in paperwork on my end, he was under the supervision of a flight attendant (and she also helped him change flights), and at the other end his dad had to sign for him and show ID before my son was allowed to go anywhere. It's actually very safe. My concern would be more about what the arrangements are on the other end.
