My lo used to wake up 2 to 3 times a night to breastfeed, but recently I have had to wake him to eat. Is he old enough to go 7 or 8 hours without eating? Will ask his pedi next week at his appt, but wanted quick input so maybe I can get a full nights sleep tonight! TIA! New to this site btw! :)

All 3 of my kids have basically slept through the night since day one. I'm all for feeding on demand, not on a schedule, so I totally agree with Denise. If baby is hungry, they'll let you know. But let sleeping babies lie :P

My daughter was sleeping through the night at 6 weeks old. I'm a firm believer if they are hungry they will let you know. In my opinion get the sleep!
