Should I send my 3 1/2 year old to preschool prep? Pros vs. Cons

I have a very smart 3 1/2 year old little girl, I'm wanting to hear some experiences and opinions about preschool prep? I found a program at the local high school that would be 4 days from 9:30-12:30. I can't decide if I need to send my daughter or not! It's so nerve wracking because obviously I want to make the best decision I can. I'm mostly a SAHM and so she has never been in daycare. She is very shy around other kids. Should I put her in this or wait until prek next year? Moms that waited was it hard transitioning from being at home to going to school 5 days a week 7 hours a day?

Thank you!!!

My daughters started preschool 2 months after turning 3 (I stuck them in in March... lol). 5 hours/day, 5 days/week and did great the last 2 months of that school year and went again for the next full school year before starting K. My son started preschool at 3.5 and did 5 hours/day, 2 days/week the first year and 5 hours/day, 5 days/week the second year. He has ALWAYS hated going to school.

It's really up to you and what you think would fit your particular child. Some kids have a very easy transition and some kids do not.
