Should I send my 4 year old to kindergarten early?

My 4 year old daughter is very smart for being 4. I know that it is largely due to our wonderful daycare proivders. She was recently enrolled in a summer Pre-K program and by the second day the kindergarted teacher was blown away by her. They would like to have her as an early enrolled kindergartner. She will not turn 5 until the February following the beginning of the school year. I know that she is now bored at daycare and seems to get herself in trouble, but I don't want to jump the gun and put her in kindergarten if it will hinder her. I also don't want to miss this opportunity for her. What would you do???

First of all our state won't allow you to enroll a child in kindergarten if they don't turn 5 by January 1st regardless of how smart they are. I can also say that I started school early and when I started college at 17 it was tough because there were a lot of things I couldn't do. I would say let her be a kid while she's young there are many years of academics ahead of her.
