Should I talk to my daughter's boyfriend about how I expect him to behave with her.

She is not allowed to go out with him by herself. They only see each other at school, but you always hear so many things. I have talked to her about our expectations from her but I feel it's important to let him know as well. They are both the same age (16), I trust her but and he seems like a good kid as well but then again at that age hormones ares "raging". Please advise.

Thank you for your response. I will take your advice and find the right time to talk to them. She knows I trust her and I think she understands that what I tell her is always in her best interest.

If you've spoken to her, then that should be enough. You may turn him against her and get her a reputation in school for a meddlesome mom if you talk to him. Or invite him over and talk to both of them at the same time, so he doesn't feel like you're picking on him alone. But I would keep communication open with your daughter, and leave it alone unless there is inappropriate behavior actually going on.
