My son is 7.5 months old and still isn't even scooching. He won't even try and get his legs underneath him when he's on his belly. he will flop on his belly when I put him in the crawling position. Should I worry?

I agree that it really is no big deal.My oldest son did not crawl until he was 9 months old(he was a fat baby),my daughter pretty much skipped crawling b/c she hated it(that and she wanted me to hold her CONSTANTLY),my youngest crawled when he was like 5 months old(he has ALWAYS been super hyper).Kids do things in there own time and as long as he is meeting his other mile stones I would not worry.

Here is a link to the CDC milestone page.If he is not meeting milestones you can call them and they will tell you who to call in your area to get a free evaluation and therapy if needed

All children are different and do things at different ages. If there isn't a physical reason for him not to be moving then let him do it in his own time.
