Should my 11 month old be waking still thru the night?

I have an eleven month old son. He wakes up four or more times a night screaming, crying and acts like he don't want you to hold him. He does this just about every night. He has always cried a lot, I think he had colic but his doctor wouldn't never check into it. Does anyone have a clue what could be causing this?

I have tried everything I can think of. Sometimes the bottle works but it don't other times, my daughter never done anything like this. I was just hoping it was a phase he was going thru but it has been pretty much the whole time. Thanks

Could be anything from wind. thirst, nightmares for teething. It's all trial and error unfortunately. Unfortunately from one night to the next it may not even be the same thing. Just when I think I have my 2 year old figured out. I really don't. If he seems like he's in pain maybe a little pain relief might be worth a try incase it's teething or something. Try giving him a drink when he wakes up. It's just a matter of keep trying stuff until you find something that works I'm sorry. But it still would be a good idea maybe to seek another doctor incase yours hasn't picked up on something. Good luck
