Should vaccinating your child really matter?

Hello everyone, my name is Claudia Harkness a student from Craigmore Christian School. As part of my child studies assignment I have to research the topic of vaccinations. It would be greatly appreciated if I could get responses on personal opinions on vaccinations both FOR and AGAINST vaccinations to count towards my SACE points. Thank you.

I vaccinated both my kids. It has kept them healthy over the years and without the vaccines, a lot of those dreaded diseases would be back with a vengeance. Also from the things I have read they had decided that vaccines do not cause for the most part problems for kids that were once thought to be. A lot of schools now require those vaccines before kindergarten and then again at certain ages after the fact. I do believe that its important to do this because it can help save lives. I know that some people do have reactions to the vaccines and that is not something anyone can foresee. It is something that person has to take up with their doctor.
