Shouldn't I be losing hair?

I hope this is not a crude problem and I hope I don't offend anyone by asking it. We just had our first baby so I joined this site to help me be the best mother and wife that I can be. I have an embarrassing problem. Since I gave birth in September my pubic area has begun to look like Bigfoot's would probably look. My husband and I made the decision early in our marriage that he liked me to be natural down there and I hated trying to keep it shaved or waxed so I have kept it natural but, now I'm feeling like I should be in the sideshow at the Circus. My husband and I have not really been intimate as of now because I have not been willing to let him see or touch me below the belt but, I know he is ready and truthfully so am I but, I worry that my new bigger and thicker pubic garden may gross him out. I have tried to think of a way to thin it out without shaving or waxing but, haven't come up with a good solution yet. Is this problem normal or should I see someone about it?

Sorry to be so blunt about my problem but, I really do hope someone out there can offer me some advice.

Thanks, I like being natural but, it has become so much. I don't know if I would ever remove it all because he seems to like it natural but, I may see if I can thin it some.

Some people are just hairier than others. I myself am very hairy and if I let it grow it goes half way down my thighs. I prefer to keep it neatly trimmed though. My husband couldn't care less about what I do down there. Sometimes I surprise him and get rid of it all :-)
