Sick Child

I have a 2 year old son that has been constantly sick since May of this year. In that time he has had Pneumonia twice, multiple ear infections, sinus infections, fever spikes in an instance, purple eyes (which I have found is called "allergy shiners". I work full time right now, though currently I am out on 2 weeks of FMLA due to my son being sick. He has seen his Pediatrician, a Pulmonologist, been to the ER and also gone to an Allergist. And they all agree on one thing that as long as he is in daycare he will not get better b/c his immune system is too weak to fight off any infections. Right now I am leaning on finding a part time job at night and resign from my full time job so I can take care of him at home. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? At this point, and with this going on for so long, I just don't know what else to do. Thanks ladies!!!

At the end of summer, I put my family on a healthy dose of immune booster. I don't know how you feel about natural medicines, but they seem to work well for my family. I make tinctures specially designed to do this; we live in the Pacific Northwest and come fall there are MAJOR allergens in the air! (I feel for your little guy, I have major allergies too :( We use echinacea/rosehip/olive leaf mix (I am not a naturopath, and I suggest you check with one before implementing any natural medicines.) Have you considered your child may have a intolerance to a type of food? The symptoms you listed are very common to a food allergy. Gluten is a major issue for some, along with dairy. Also, how is your home on mold/dust? I have had to fight mold in my home (I live in an old farm house) and because we live on a farm it is ALWAYS dusty! This 100% attributes to allergies in my home. Hope this helps!
