The main thing also that I figured out is don't let your child get overheated. I didn't know that was a side effect or reaction. My son almost passed out last weekend and was almost speaking in tongues and not making any sense! Then I went online and saw that is said don't let child get overheated or dehydrated. Good luck. I am trying to ween my son off. It worked ok for a year or so and now he is so aggressive and disrespectful.

Do you know you are the 4th person that's posted on this? Let me guess: Your child is having behavior issues and is being aggressive.......

One of the side effects of Intuniv. A severe one I might add.

Constipation; decreased appetite; dizziness; drowsiness; dry mouth; headache; irritability; nausea; sluggishness; stomach pain; tiredness; vomiting.

Seek medical attention right away if any of these SEVERE side effects occur when using Intuniv Extended-Release Tablets:

Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); fainting; severe or persistent dizziness, drowsiness, or weakness; slow or irregular heartbeat.

This is not a complete list of all side effects that may occur. If you have questions about side effects, contact your health care provider. Call your doctor for medical advice about side effects. To report side effects to the appropriate agency, please read the Guide to Reporting Problems to FDA.
