so my so was born feb 2013, I was with his father for almost 2 years. he left me when my baby was about 3 months. afther that he would give me money for her and would come see him. but since she turned lik 4 months he came to see him once and till this day he has not bothered asking for him or nothing gave me money or nothing.. I rather him not be in her life at all if he's going to come one day and then disappear for months. is their something I can do so he don't see her.?????????????????????? He did sign the birth certificate.

Even having full custody does not mean the father won't be granted visitation. On top of that getting full custody is a rough road and unless she has everything in order.

Custody doesn't always go the way women plan. She might file for custody and the courts end up splitting the child 50/50 or give the father every weekend. If her mission is to keep the father away, this plan does not work.

Really no, there is no way in this story. The courts will look at this case and say he wants to be in his child's life and he will be allowed that. Saying he isn't consistant doesn't really change the courts mind.

You can go to court and ask for child support though. This way you don't have to ask him for money, it is ordered that he will pay it.

As a single mother you can't really force the father to see the child or not see the child. Your job as a single mom is to make sure you are always there for the child despite anything else going on. Try to always make choices for your child based on what they need rather than your own emotions about the situation.
