I am a single mom with a 3 year old son. I lost everything and now im living with friends. I have no car and no way to get to a job. Alls I want is to be able to afford to get a car and a place for me and my son so he has some stability. Right now he is confused by all the different rules. I just want our life back. I have been search high and low for jobs that I can work from home until I can afford a car and I am coming up empty. Please help

Michelle has covered it well. Having access to public transportation is a major thing when you need to get around but hard when your town/city/area does not have that. Where I live there is not real good public transportation. One is run by the university here and they just changed up the routes and so it is making it hard for those that use the system to get around and the other one costs so much one direction and has limited areas it goes to and limited stops in town. If you want to do in home work, online places are a lot of the time scams and will cost you money. There may be some that are legit, but again it might have start up costs to you to begin with. There are others that a company locally may allow you to do piece work at home but you would have to do so much a week to get a good pay check and you would have to get it there by the deadline date and time. As was said the best thing for you to do is to look for outside work and see if you can find something with walking distance to where you live--had you ever thought of working in a daycare? I did a few times when my daughter was little and she got to go for half off or a discounted price while I worked. Some places discount to their employees and then you would not have to worry about care of your own child and it might be good for him being Pre-K age anyhow.

You haven't broken any rules, it's just that this isn't a site to find a job.

You may actually have to look for a job outside the home to be able to make decent money. A lot of at home jobs don't make you enough to actually live on until you have been in them for a while.
You would also be better off asking in the work from home communities. We don't allow soliciting here and a question like this just encourages them.
