I'm a single mother of bb 15 month old twin boys (single because I don't deserve to be lied to and cheated on.) I'm 22 years old(23 next month) and I currently attend school, I'll be earning my A.A.S. this summer. I live with my parents who can't help much because of their jobs, so they are NEVER here. I really want to work but have little experience and my sons are in daycare so I'm the only one who drops them off, picks them up, feeds them, etc. How do other mothers manage? Being a mother, a student, and work? I've almost blown through all my savings from taking care of them and when I do have some free time I'm applying to as many jobs as I can. Is there hope?

@maria - I guess I didn't state that correctly because I was in no way saying that my parent owed me anything. I saw in other post that mothers made it work by having family members help out and I was simply stating that that was not an option for me. Secondly, daycare is paid because their father pays 80% and I pay 20%. He pays for nothing else but daycare. Which is also why I said I've blown through almost all my savings.

There is hope, but you need a game plan. I think you would feel better if you were working more or ft.. Just wondering how the babies are in daycare if you don't work? For school I am assuming? Also, if you're not working I don't see how you're paying for daycare..and I know it's hard but you're parents don't owe you anything it's nice of them to let you live there with your children. You should go to your schools career center (if they have one) and have them help you help yourself in finding a job/career as soon as you graduate and make sure you're resume and experience is aligned with the career you're seeking!! Good luck, you're going to busy but that is a good thing and you're children will appreciate you so much for giving them the best of yourself.
