I'm currently living in a suburb, working behind a desk with little to no freedom and I really don't even enjoy what I'm doing. I've been thinking about moving back to my little hometown but couldn't decide what I would do for work. My sister recently got pregnant with her second child and we started talking about what she would do when the new baby got here. That's when we realized that there is a big need for a good daycare in our school district. I grew up with three younger sisters, I've babysat for several families for several years and have a lot of experience with my niece and my friends' kids. I'm currently dating but not in a committed relationship and I have no children of my own, nor do I plan on having one any time soon. I think that I'd like to to try opening an in-home daycare when I move back. My sister thinks it is a great idea but I'm having trouble getting support from my mother, who used to run a daycare at home when I was a child, so I'd just like to get a few more opinions from some other Moms. Is this a good idea? Would you have a problem taking your children to be cared for by a woman with no children of her own or would that matter to you?
