Sry i just read you are a teen mom,i dont know how old the father of your baby is,but i could imagine that some men are just not ready when they become a father at a young age. But dont worry, there are men out there that dont leave their woman with their child alone.

Not all guys do, and not all teen fathers do.

It comes down to choices. You both made choices. You're stuck because you've got the anatomy. Once the baby's born, get paternity established and file for support.

And, well, not to sound like a parent or anything, but perhaps before making that very adult choice to have sex (because, yeah, it's fun, and it feels good and all, but no one likes the consequences when they're a teen) again, one should do some soul searching. If you're not ready for another kid, then that guy isn't THAT important, and if he can't figure that out, well...He's always got his hand to help him out.

Guys make it sound great...They sure do...but quite a few of them are there for a quick gratification.

They aren't ready to grow up, take care of their child, & just run away..
but not all guys are like that, I say this cause my hubby doesn't want to be like his dad...

There are a number of reasons that men chose to leave their children none of them would be good enough for how you're feeling. What I can tell you is you and your child are probably better off. Since he left you know that he's selfish and selfish adults don't make good parents. Concentrate on showing your child that he/she is as often as you can. You can't make up for an absent parent but you can be the best present parent you know how to be. It will be hard over the years you will get questions that you will not have the answers to but just remember that you're doing your best and that is enough.

They are scared. They did not have a good role model growing up. Take your pick. I am sure there are a lot of reasons. Lean on God, he is there for you and your baby. There are a lot of places for teen moms to go for support and help, and Proud of you for choosing life for your baby, even if dad is gonna bail on you! God will lead the right people in your life when you need them if you listen to him! Onlineforlife.org is a good resource if you need help or support or anything at all! God Bless you and your little one!
