My husband and I have a two yr old daughter. His sister always has something to say about how our daughter acts. The other day I gave my daughter her juice cup when she asked for it and she said " thank you mommy thank you". My sis in law looked at me and said "do you make her beg for things or what?" I just thought I was raising a polite child. We always say please and thank you. The same day i asked my daughter if I could hold her minnie doll that she carries and of course its her favorite so she told me no..lol...Sis in law said to beat her butt now or she will be telling us no forever. In the next breath she told me that my child has a sharing problem....
Sis in law has one child that is five months old....so she believes she knows it all about parenting. I guess I just need to know how to tell her off without sounding mean..lol...or should I just tell her that I have a really good memory and will remind her of this when her perfect lil angel is TWO...lol

I would definitely tell her nicely that her time is coming! lLol...I would also let her know that all children her age has sharing issues, which is completely normal. As far as other sarcastic remarks, either ignore it or respond in your own sarcastic way by saying " She doesn't have to beg....we just teach our child manners. " Different things work for different households. If she is always focusing on how you raise your child it seems as though she may be jealous or insecure about something.
