Sleep on back? No suit?

Hi, my soon to be 6month old will not sleep in his crib without wearing his Magic sleep suit. When we try without he will roll on his side and sleep for about 20 minutes then rolls on his side and cries. With the suit he sleeps great and all night long. He will start day care in September and will need to be suit free. My first son transitioned so easy from the suit, so I am not sure what to do? I don't really want to have him cry all night and not get any sleep.
Any thoughts? Thank you!

Since he is used to wearing his magic sleep suit for bed, this is now a routine for him. You can introduce a new routine for him that can help him sleep. Have you tried giving him a warm bath and reading a story right before he goes to sleep? Some baby's are very fixed in a routine and have a hard time breaking it. My son is the same way and even at 4 years old he still has some routines that he's kept since he was very little. Don't despair! I know it can be hard but it is just a matter of finding that little new routine that he will like and will help him sleep.
