I have a 2 and a half year old, that was a good sleeper and went to bed at night at 9-9:30pm before her 2nd birthday, and in a month she will be 3yrs and her sleeping is becoming later and later, we have always had a routine ever since she was a baby, we have dinner at 7:30, bath at 8pm and wind down after that, and she is hard to put to sleep. She has been on 1 nap at noon for over a year, and it usually is no more than an hour, but in the last 6 months she has been more and more resistant to sleep. Its a struggle to get her to go to bed before 10:30pm sometimes I stay with her for an hour until she falls asleep, I want to know when it is okay to cut her nap altogether?? I have cut her nap on weekends and by 5:30pm she passes out, and has a hard time sleeping after, I dont know what to do, she goes to daycare weekdays and they refuse to cut her nap but I think she just needs rest time so that its easier for me to put her to bed at night?? Advice??
