Im really struggling to get my 11wk old baby to sleep on her back.
ive been quite conserned lately as she was only drinking 2-3oz a time and arching her back and pulling away from the bottle during feeding but also arching her back when being held. She gets hiccups ALOT and lately has been being sick more often (sometimes up to a coulple hours after eating). She also (and more concerning to me) seems to struggle to 'catch her breath' i struggle to best describe this other than occasionally when laying on her back she takes really short inhaling breaths about 6 times before a long breath out and does this about 2 times before returning to normal breathing.
i saw the hv today who said she is gaining weight ok and wasnt really concerned at all and just said to try larger teats, which i have and their amazing, she did 4oz in her very next feed and every one since. But now everytime i lay her down (as shes fast asleep on me) she wakes within 10 mins and wants to be held again and goes straight back to sleep.
im wandering 1- how to get her to stay sleeping and 2-if anyone thinks there is more to be concerned about. Something deep down tells me there is!
