i have ordered a 1 tog sleeping bag for my five month old sleeping bag to sleep in now that the weather is getting colder, our room is normally about 19c and was wondering what clothing is suitable to put him in underneath it, because at the moment he sleeps in a long sleeved onesie with no covers and wakes up with little cold feet, doesn't wake up crying so must be warm enough, any answers would be appreciated, thank you.

I'm sure a sleeping bag will be fine for him you can get some really nice ones too

Jack doesn't feel cold, he always has a warm stomach and neck when I check him, but his feet are sometimes cold in the morning, his hands are cold but that's because he sucks on them, which is why I decided to get the sleeping bag, I'm one of these moms that doesn't use blankets in the cot, I did try a breathable blanket when jack was born and he hated them just kicked them off

Our house Is really warm too but she always feels on the cold side, she loves her sleeping bags and sleeps a lot better in them than with just a blanket

we are also in England but as our home is quite warm I figured he would be warm enough in the one tog bag, when I feel his chest he is always warm and that is just with a onesie on, thanks for your reply

My daughter sleeps in her all in one sleep suit and a 2.5 tog sleeping bag although I live in England so it's quite cold here now, always feel their chest that's a good indication of how warm or cold they really are
