Hi everyone just wondering if anyone could offer advice my little girl is 3.5 months old and I'm having awful trouble pitting her to sleep. She had colic when younger so got used to us carrying her around alot and bring rocked to sleep. She only liked to nap on one of use but sleeps fine at nite in cot. Now I'm trying shush and pat technique while holding her but she screems for usually 20-40 mins b 4 falling off to sleep. When I out her down then she only sleeps for bout 20-40 mins. Also even when I rocked and walked around with her she would also screen b 4 going to sleep any advice would b helpful.

Thanks Amanda not sure what a bibby is? The CIO doesn't work as she hasn't learned how to self sooth yet I already tried with terrible results. Mayb she is experiencing heart burn but does b completely fine until its sleep time

I know this is a hot topic suggestion but it might be time to break out the bippy if you haven't all ready. if you are breast feeding and got it down good my hospital said its ok if you are ok with it. and sometimes its the only way. I have found a good rule is that it is only used for sleeping, lives in the crib only and when the crib goes so does the bippy. some times you just have to walk away and let them cry it out. I was a nanny for a little girl who did the same thing about the same time and it lasted for 2 weeks. Nothing worked but then we walked away and soon she worked it out. If it keeps going on i might talk to your DR too. sometimes little baby heartburn can be the problem and your DR might have a plan for that. good luck!
