Sleeping problems in my 8 month old.

My daughter teethed like crazy! She had 16 teeth by her first birthday so every once in a while was restless sleeping and waking up at night. Before the tooth would actually poke out was when she would have trouble sleeping, but once the tooth poked through the gums it would get better. I think it was around 8 months i started noticing she was getting up out of habit after a tooth was out. I tried waiting a little longer before going in and then she ended up going back to sleep. I then waso able to tell when she was actually in pain and when she wasn't. Teething gels really seemed to help her. Good luck! Teething is definitely a rough time.

It will pass, my daughter once she started teething went from sleeping through the night to waking every 30 minutes to an hour. Tylenol only helped to get her asleep but didn't do anything for the pain in the middle of the night. After two weeks we even took her to the doctor because it was so unlike her and she would continue to cry even as we were holding her. It was about 2 1/2 weeks and she immediately went back to her regular schedule but it was a vey exhausting two weeks since I work full time. I'm just waiting for more to start coming in now that she's a year old. Good luck.
