Sleeping through the night

My daughter is now 14 month old and some days she is sleeping through the night ans than are times that she wakes up and want a bottle, or I give her a bottle. This is my first child and everybody tells me different things. Is it right to give her instead of formula water? If I decrease the ounces and give her water than would this be right?

Yep that is ok. That is what I would do. At 14 months she is not needing the milk or formula at night anymore, so doing water is just fine. Decreasing the ounces is also good. A gradule way of getting her off of the habit of wanting something in the middle of the night. The water instead of milk is also better for her teeth. Water has no sugars in it to decay the teeth.
