My 16 week old baby has been sneezing a few times a day since he was born but never gets a cold. Is this normal?

Babies often sneeze not because they are sick but because they just need to clear their airways. My 1 year old has also been doing it since birth but is one of the healthiest babies I know (she has never been sick). This is normal and likely nothing to be worried about.

Sneezing in a newborn is normal and usually does not mean they have a cold.

Sometimes new pjs or blankets shed a bit of lint intially and this can make baby sneezing or even stuffy. You can try to peek in his nostrils to see if there is lint in there and use a q-tip with a drop of saline on it to gently remove any bits. Just be very careful, if you see nothing I'd leave it be as long as he is healthy and thriving in every other aspect.
