So my sister told me that people who snowmobile or quad (she even said even who are runners) during first trimester have a really big chance of miscarriage because of all the bumps.. is this true???? I mean ya if your sled rolled on you ya it could hurt baby but if it was just a little ride on a trail no hills or crazy roads nothing you could possible tip ur sled or quad on. I tried googling about it and I got alot of mixed messages about it leaving me still confused. has anyone heard of this? who you go quadding or snowmobiling during first trimester? is my sister just crazy?haha

I wouldn't take the chance. Just knowing i'm pregnant would make me paranoid the entire time. I mean there are soo many things you can do that can have your pregnancy end in a miscarriage, but if you can prevent then why not.

If you didn't know you were pregnant and did it before you found out it might be one thing...But if you know you are pregnant why risk it? I don't think that your sister is crazy, although I doubt that there are any specific studies showing that women who quad and snowmobile have a higher rate of miscarriage, it just seems like a good idea to avoid it if you can. Just my opinion though.
