So I found out 2 weeks ago that I am pregnant with my first child.I am in my senior year at college working 30 hours a week. Over the last week the morning sickness has gotten to the point where I can't even go to work or my classes. Can anyone give me some advice on what to do/take to calm down my stomach? I've been trying ginger ale and other simple things like that but nothing seems to help. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I have no one to go to for advice on such matters.

For some people, constantly snacking so they never get too hungry or too full helps with the nausea. For myself, keeping a cut lemon with me and smelling or licking it when the nausea hit prevented me from throwing up many times. But it was still horrible until I got past 13 weeks.

Different things work for different people.
I have heard the seasickness bracelets work, snacking on watermelon or plain crackers.

I never suffered from morning sickness so can't help. Maybe ask the chemist/pharmacist what they have that you could take.
