So I'm like very over protective when it comes to my daugher. Like wyhen she trying to stand up on her own or when she's crawling aroung i'm always like watch out so this or this wont happen and my sister says it's okay she going to fall and bump her head alot. which she does. but then i think it's going to like do major damage. like she going to be metal or something because of it. and she dont even sleep in her crib anymore cause i think she going to roll over in brake her neck or smother herself or just something fetal or bad going to happen if i'm not with her 25/7. help me please.. any advice thanks.

Kids get hurt...plain and simple. It is part of how they learn and figure things out. My kids both have and had what seemed like permanent bruises on their heads. Do you really want to be a helicopter constantly hovering over your kids?

It's hard, I know. You want so badly to protect them, but it sounds like you're driving yourself a little crazy with this. Yes, sometimes bad things happen, but the overwhelming, huge majority of babies are just fine. You don't say her age, but if she's trying to stand on her own, that CAN be a nerve-wracking stage.

Just try to make sure that you don't have any sharp-edged tables or anything that could really hurt her if she falls. Put down a good thick rug, if needed.

And breathe.

It'll get better.
