I have tried for years to help him but I am feeling that I can no longer cope. I know that there are a lot of us who see our children suffer and unable to help them.

Thank you for your kind words, Mary. My life is truly blessed but I am so concerned as to what will become of my son when I and his Father are no longer here for him. Hopefully my other son and his sweet wife will step in at that time. My son with AS does not always cooperate when a plan is established for him but time will tell. Today is a new day and I am feeling better than I was last evening. I hope you have a blessed day.

Hi Cathy,
I do not have experience with you have been experiencing, but I am sorry. It sounds like you have done so much for such a long time. What a wonderful mother you are. I don't think there is any shame in needing help. Please, if that it what you need, seek it. I hope that if there are other mothers here that have similar experiences as you than they will be able to be more helpful. I hope you find whatever it is that will be beneficial to you and your son!
