I had three sons age 11,17&21 and am married.Last year my 21 year old son made me a grandma of a baby girl while he still was studying. He left my home to go live with his girlfriend and her grandma cause her parents separate while she was still small,in the month of April this year.I can't understand why cause me and his dad gave our everything to him and our grandchild. It felt like my heart is just ripped out,I asked God to make me strong and to bring him back to us,until he gets married one day.this girlfriend of his don't even have respect for me and my husband. What can I as a mother do?

Yes, stop supporting them. They need to support their own little family. Offer to help out by watching the baby while they are at work or school, but this is not your child to support.

Nothing. He is a grown adult with a kid. You stand by and support his decision to step up to the plate and be a man. He wants to be with his girlfriend and baby. Wouldn't you prefer he acted like a man and a father than live at home with mommy and daddy and avoid his responsibilities? Just remember, his girlfriend is not just a girlfriend. She had his first baby and will always be in his life regardless. It would be in your best interest to make nice, and stop trying to control your sons life. Instead, support his decision.
