I have been trying to potty training my son since he was 18 month old and showed interest in the potty- he is now nearly 3 and still not trained.
I initially started with the Big potty and a seat but after his grandmother had the first success with a small potty I quickly switched. I have had 100% success (at home) some weeks and other weeks he will go on the floor repeatedly or hide to poop and walk around in wet underwear as if it doesn't bother him at all. I haven't even dared to leave the house without a diaper on him because he refuses to use public restrooms. When I tell him to go he struggles and when I ask him says he doesn't need to go.
How can I get him to Want to go? He doesn't seem to care about being a Big Boy, and treats and stickers were nothing more than silly games to him. He's a pretty easy kid in nearly every other way.
