Alright ladies! I need help. I have been separated from my sons father for a little over a month now. He recently met a woman online and is already living with her after knowing each other for around three weeks. Am I wrong for feeling sketchy about him taking our son to stay overnight with her?

Then at this point you can talk till you are blue in the face and he will do what he wills. You need to go ahead and get custody, visitation and child support set up NOW. Its important to protect the child and to make it clear what is acceptable and not acceptable for the parents to do. It lays out who has primary custody, who has visitation, and who is paying child support based on percentage of the income of that parent. BUT visitation, custody and child support are separate issues and if you hold out on something that is in the court orders such as visitation because of no child support you could be taken to court over that. Just outlining what is what.

We do not have court orders at all. Like I said, we have just separated and are still trying to figure everything out.

Do you have court orders? If you do and you keep your son from his father because he is dating someone from online and appears to be living with her, you will be in trouble. I do understand your worries and concerns because I had those when my kids' father started to date women I did not know. He even allowed one to keep my kids on spring break and I knew nothing of her. He almost denied me calling them as it was in our visitation orders for me to have that access when I wanted to call during certain times. You need to be at least introduced to this woman is. THat is your right. WHat you can not do now that he has moved on is to tell him how he lives in his house and how he does things when your son is with him. That is his time. If you are certain this woman is a danger to your child and you can prove it, then take it to court.
