My two and half year old cant speak yet he understands really good but gets frustrated when he wants something should I be worried?

no, i would not be worried. help him calm down and verbalize what he wants, when he gets frustrated he is no longer able to focus long enough to verbalize it... but every time he wants something ask him, you want your cup? or you want a banana? or what ever he wants. Make him repeat it.... but if you have no idea what he wants, help him show you, then you can say, "Oh, you want your (insert what ever it is)." and make him repeat it, that way NEXT time he can verbalize it. i have heard people using sign language to get their kids to communicate, regardless of if their babies can speak or not.
