My daughter is spitting constantly. Not only is she spitting on the floor, she's spitting on her brother, on surfaces in our home, at the kiddo train at our mall, and now...fun, fun, fun...on me. Help! I don't know what to do. We have told her how icky it is, how is spreads germs, makes other kids sick, etc. I even resorted to telling her that kids don't like to be friends with kids that spit. Now I feel horrible. Should I just stick to time out? Any other suggestions??

Thanks for the input, Kim. I have been doing time out with her. I will try to be more consistent with it.

As soon as she spits, time out. EVERY TIME. Not time out with toys, either. If you let her get away with it once it makes the game more fun.
