spontaneous abortion/miscarriage?

I'm 28 years old and am about 6 weeks and 4 days pregnant. I started spotting 2 days ago and decided to go to the er (bc of the confusion with my first daughter) my cervix was closed, hgc was 26, 600 and the gestational sac was present but nothing else. I was not concerned bc I know from my previous pregnancy, it might have been too early to detect a fetal pole, baby, heartbeat etc. Every woman and pregnancy is different. Last night, I wiped and saw some red blood. Nothing in my panties or anything. Just sometimes when I wiped. I'd wipe and see some pink spotting but then it stopped. I woke up in the night to pee, and saw nothing. When I woke up this morning, I wiped and saw some blood. I went back to the er. My cervix was still closed and this time they saw something very small in the gestational sac but my hgc had dropped to 25, 559. The doc said that could be bc of different labs that I used but suggested that I was having a spontaneous abortion/miscarriage. I've not filled a pad or come close to filling it with blood and have no pain or cramping. I was told the same thing with my daughter but found out I was actually carrying twins and had lost one. I just don't know what to think with this one bc 2 days ago nothing was in the sac and today they saw something. Could the hgc be different bc of different testing? Has this happend to anyone before? I have a f/u with my ob on monday but am just a little concerned. My breasts are still sore (which I was told if I am miscarrying would stop) and I just don't want to rule it as a miscarriage. I know the blood test on monday will show if I am miscarrying but I just wanted to see if anyone else had gone through this or experienced anything simular?

I spotted during my first trimester if I walked too far or stood for too long. I didn't miscarry. Those levels were off by 1 so that sounds lab like to me.
