My 13 year old son has been diagnosed with ADHD, Bipoloar, Depression, and mentally delayed he was just approved for social security I was told the funds would go into a dedicated account and I can't use it unless its medically related but he needs a new bed my couches are destroyed he's rough on shoes in buying clothes and shoes monthly cause I want my child to look nice can I buy it and take them receipts and letters from doctors lil his psychiatrist and behavioral health clinician I need advice please ladies

i had my dr put in writting that my child need to sleep on a good matters and in his room. So they cant say anything. It helps with their sleep, and my son has joint pain so he needs it. I just had to send the info in and they approved it

Check with your agent or whatever you call it... the person who approved him. It 'should' be OK, but you really want to check with the SSI people ahead of time just in case they won't allow it.
