My lg is 9 weeks old and on cow and gate stage 2 milk. Since she's been on the stage 2 she's had really runny nappys, every dirty nappy is up her back. My lb done this at her age when he went onto stage 2, At the time our health visitor said it was because we changed his milk from cow and gate to Aptamil, then a few weeks later to Aptamil stage 2. We were told it would stop once his tummy was used to the milk but it only stopped once he was onsollids and his lunch & dinner time bottles were cut down. My lg has been on cow and gate since day on. She was fine on the stage one milk that way but i couldnt keep up with the feeds and she wasnt contented after a feed whereas shes much happier on stage 2. Im not keen on changing her milk as shes happy enough on the milk. Does anyone know what i could do to stop it and whats causing it.

You mentioned that she is leaking out go her diaper, have you tried seeing if she needs the next size up? With my kids ( who were breast fed with runny poop), I noticed they would constantly blow out their diapers, but once I started putting on the next size up the blow outs would completely stop.

Where i live stage 2 is a milk for hungrier babies. The milk she was on to start with (Stage 1) Didnt Fill her at alll, she constantly wanted more. Then she'd spew As Shes Had To Much But Stil Be Hungry. Theres Also A Stage 3 For 6 Months And Over Then a 1+ Year. Their allowed the stage 2 milk from 6 weeks so shes not to young for it, if i put her back to stage 1 she'll cry constantly and always feel hungry whereas although shes having these bad nappys its not hurting her and shes happy. I know it will probably stop once shes on solids but thats not for a while yet. I dont know anyone else to have had this & its happened with both my kiddies.

Just realised your edit. She was on 6ounces at that point and every 1/2 hours. That was going on from about 3 weeks until 6weeks as she was then starting to get up every 2/3 hours during the night when she was going 4-6 hours previously.

I have no idea about those brands or what stage 2 milk is... where I live 'stage 2' milk is more of a toddler formula and not really for babies under about 9 months. At 9 weeks I would 'assume' that a baby should be on whatever formula they started off on since 9 weeks is still a newborn. If you think it's the milk causing the issue... why can't you go back to whatever she was previously drinking?

Sorry. I don't really know much other than about breastfeeding and/or ONE formula that a child can typically stay on until they are a year old.

Editing because I just noticed where you mentioned the issue with the stage one... Babies go through growth spurts where they want more and more.. and that is ok. How much and how often were you feeding her on the stage one before you made the switch?
