My daughter was diagnosed with a Cows milk protein allerg. Saturday she was put on neocate and since then all she had been doing is vomiting. I can't even take a shower because I'm afraid she'll choke on her vomit. Has anyone experienced this? Will this go away with time?

Poor thing, just keep trying. I know I put my mom through hell, almost 35 years later she still tells me about it.

Maybe your doctor is right and soon she will adjust.

Thank you. I will look into goats milk. We tried soy, she can't digest that either. She's only two months old and her intestines are just too premature and raw to do so. They say she'll get used to it, to just give it time, but it's scary to go through when they're so helpless.

I was a baby with milk protein allergy. They did not have formula for it back then. My mother gave me goats milk.

It does not lack milk protein but has less of them
It has less lactose
more digestible fat
and it has more calcium

As far as where do you get it, I honestly don't know. I have heard now that people add soy or hypoallergenic formula to goats milk. Either way talk to your doctor and ask them what options you have. I can't imagine that all the spitting up can be good for her.
