I am having serious problems getting my 3 1/2 yr old to stay in bed at naps and bed time. We take away privileges, like toys, tv, video games. But he still doesn't stay in bed it is a fight every night and we are losing our minds. Any help would be greatly appreciated

It sounds like it is time to stop naps. That is how my son was when he needed to stop, and I was in complete denial cause I LOVED nap time. I would also sleep ;P So if you stop nap time, you will have some cranky periods through the day until he is fully adjusted, but will be much more tired at night and hopefully konk right out.

Cut the nap out. We also have a 3.5 year old and he sleeps much better when he hasn't had a nap. Although napping is nearly impossible for him anyhow, he’s outgrown them for the most part so it all works out. We also lay with our son until he falls asleep. Once he's out he's out! Good luck!
